INTERIOR DESIGN DECLARES SUPPORTS THE NATUREWATCH FOUNDATION'S 'PAINT WITH KINDNESS, NOT CRUELTY' CAMPAIGN

The charity has identified that while bans on Household Products have been in place for nearly 10 years in the UK, there are many loopholes and animal testing still happens.  Household products include cleaning products - but also paints, grouts, lacquers and adhesives. 

There three campaign actions

1. Sign petition - the UK ‘banned’ testing household products on animals, but the ban is full of loopholes.
2. Use their letter template to contact your suppliers to help with the charity's research for their campaign which will be gathered in their Compassionate Shopping Guide. If you are outside of the UK, use this template to find out more from suppliers in your country.
3. Use their Compassionate Shopping Guide once updated with this household products research.

After almost a year’s work, a scientific consensus has been signed by senior UK scientists on the need to readdress the use of toxic flame retardant chemicals.
